Visitors under 18 years old / Turkish Citizens 65 years and over / Veterans, families of veterans and matyrs / Disabled and a companion / Teachers / Soldiers / Press Members and ICOM, ICOMOS and UNESCO card holders.
Free admission to students on Tuesdays between 16.00 - 20.00
Group Tours:
With the permission of the Museum Directorate and the approval of the Rectorate, groups with at least 25 people are allowed to visit the Museum, in parties of up to 15 people, during non-operating days and hours only if the highest double entry fees are paid per person.
Ticket office is open until 19.30 on Tuesdays and 16.30 on other days of the week.

Transportation to the Museum

By Bus

The Istanbul Museum of Painting and Sculpture is located right in front of the “Salı Pazarı” bus stop. You can reach the museum using the bus lines, 26, 26A, 28, 28T, 30D, 70KE.

By Tramline

IMPS is at a 5 minutes distance by walk from the “Tophane” stop on the T1 KabataşBağcılar tramline.

By Ferry

If you are coming from the Anatolian side, IMPS is located within 10-minute walking distance from Kabataş and Karaköy ferry ports.

Parking

If you are coming to IMPS with your car, you can use the Galataport paid parking lot.

By Metro

IMPS is a 15-minute walk from the “Şişhane” stop on the Yenikapı-Hacıosman metro line.

By Funicular

It is a 15-minute walk from the IMPS, F1 Kabataş – Taksim, F2 Karaköy-Beyoğlu Historical Tunnel funicular lines.
